I usually read The Important Book to my students and have them write about themselves. I also had them use Pixie to illustrate it last year.

What a FANTASTIC project! What a great way to retell a story. While they are all incredible pictures by your students I must say that the caroler is up towards the top of my favorites. Coming from a musical family, Christmas carols definitely make the holidays extra special for me. I also need to give a shout out to Brianna! I was thoroughly impressed that you captured our photo and added it to the picture of your house. (I think that was her. The picture is really small.) Great job! All your students should be very proud of the great job they did. Thanks so much for sharing their work!
