San Diego Brain Tumor Walk - Please help out one of my students!

Alyssa is a soon-to-be fourth grader at Prospect Ave, our technology and PBL magnet school. She was diagnosed with a brain tumor when she was 7. It is life-threatening. Alyssa has asked us all to participate in her efforts to raise funds for brain tumor research. She has already held a yard sale that earned over $1k, and is now trying to get a massive team together for the brain tumor walk in September.

Blogging about Blogging

I figured I should start a blog, but I didn't know where - I have too many social networking sites! So I created an outside blog through Posterous. I like Posterous because I don't have to log in to their site. I can just email my post and it shows up.

ISTE

Just want everyone to know that I thought the ISTE conference was wonderful! It is so invigorating to be around so many like minded professionals, all coming together to exchange ideas of technology integration.



My workshop, "Digital Storytelling for Beginners Across All Content Areas," was sold out at 30 participants. Dr Laura Spencer was my co-presenter. All of the participants were able to construct a story using Pixie, and the smiles on their faces were priceless!
